This sounds like it might be a mass-produced item that wouldn't be worth much of anything.
There are one or two artists named von Trier, but if you think you have an original work that might be worth something, you should not be asking here. You need to take the painting to an art appraiser. A reputable appraiser would not work from a mere verbal description or even a photograph. Moreover, value involves many factors, including condition, and we are obviously not in a position to assess condition.
