What was an original price for a Claude Monet painting when it was first painted?

Any classic painting by Monet. I'm just trying to compare prices of original art then to now. You could use any famous artist if you want (Picasso, Renoir, van Gogh, etc.) I'm having problems finding any info about original prices, maybe some art majors would know? Thanks for any examples!!!

Not very much, van goghs were worthless when he was alive but now they are like hundreds of thousands but technically priceless, like noone can buy them because they are original pieces.
