I think my paint tubes are made of lead?

is that bad? the metal is very flexible, almost malleable so that is why i think so

i just ate some cheez its without washing my hands too...

If they preceded the 1940s they could be made of lead and tin but if after they are an aluminium alloy. I use Euthymol toothpaste which is in a metal tube. Touching lead will not poison you. You shouldn't melt it down and breathe in the fumes too much. It was banned as a petrol additive because its fumes were building up in the air. You will have no ill effects.
