Place de la Concorde is a painting by the French impressionist painter, Edgar Degas that dates from 1875. The painting is currently in the possession of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. The painting was created using oil paints on canvas, and its dimensions are 30.9 by 46.3 inches.
The painting, which looks something like a sepia print, depicts a father and his two daughters in the Place de la Concorde in Paris. The father is Viscount Ludvic Lepic. Another male figure is portrayed on the left of the painting, looking at the Lepic family. There is also a dog standing behind the family. The bearded viscount is holding his right hand behind his back, while his left clutches an umbrella under his armpit. He is smoking a cigar. Both daughters are dressed almost identically. A horse with mounted rider and pulling a carriage is shown emerging from the left side of the painting.
