Salvador Dali opened the world's eyes to new and different images. His images are surrealism at its best.
An Australian Artist (who died only recently) painted surreal images but took this down a different route. The Australian artists is Bill Gleeson. Currently there are a number of large canvasses by Bill Gleeson on display at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Correction. The artist's name was James Gleeson (Bill Gleeson is an old schoolfriend - He doesn't paint. Sorry!)
