there are many common surnames and I see the same characters a lot. Like there would be many people stamping the surname chen and kawasaki etc.
Isn't it easy for infringement and can be forged easily?

Well, if you're talking about paintings, the use of stamps are used to tell the people who the artist is. The stamp usually contains character in an ancient form.

Because they are serious busniess minded people they don't like to waste time. Money is time and time is money for them.
