You may be able to draw calligraphical designs, but mainly as linework, script art, it would be like Pen & Ink cross-hatching to do fine details, suggest using both Pen and more so brushes to draw some linework with pen, then use brushes for blends and washes,
it may not be as hard as it appears to use brushes, but either method will require training or practice to develop techniques,
