His most famous works are probably "Las Meninas" (1656) in the Prado, Madrid, the "Old Woman Frying Eggs" (1618) in the National Gallery of Scotland, and the "Rokeby Venus" (1644-48) in the National Gallery, London. His many portraits have been very influential on later generations of artists.
