Watercolor painting help?

I'm fairly new to watercolor painting. I recently started a piece of a galloping horse, and tried to make that dripping effect on one of its legs. Let's just say it didn't turn out so well, and now I have a giant brown blob on the bottom of my piece. I've gone over it a few times with white paint, which is helping to fade it. But I'm not quite sure what else I should do with it. Obviously, I'm not going to fade it completely. It's just turning into a light brown stain on the page.
Does anybody have any ideas of what I could do to correct it, or maybe work around it? Any help would be appreciated!

Since you painted over the glob, I think you should start over. Remember when you use watercolor you can usually just wet the end of a brush and pick up the paint you don't want. Or use a cotton swab. I have also just put the whole piece in the sink in water and brushed the paint off. Usually comes off pretty good. Even if it is dry. That is the good part about painting in water color.

When you think of water-coloring, you may have flashbacks from your childhood. But there's a whole lot more to this art medium, and it's worth a second look. If you're thinking about learning how to watercolor paint as an adult, follow these steps and you can create custom works of art quickly and easily.
