Why is painting your nails too much bad?

Ok so my mom said painting ur nails too much is bad so i try to avoid that. yesterday I painted my nails . today my design chipped away. Is it ok to paint my nails again today? Is that ok to paint ur nails two day in a row? Usually i paint my nails and keep it on for 4 days. and then after 3-4 day i paint them again. So to sum it up: My Qs: 1.Why is painting your nails too much bad? 2.Is it ok to paint ur nails two days in a row? Thanks .xx

Assuming you are doing your nails with the proper paints you are not going to have a problem with excessive time being painted. I just resent the time to actually do it. I have more important things to paint than my nails.
