Claude Monet painted Cliff Walk at Pourville in 1882. He repeatedly painted the rise of the cliff at Pourville, near Dieppe, Normandie, France, throughout his summer stay. In the painting, he depicts Alice Hoschedé and one of her daughters looking out toward the sea.
