Comparisons between paul cezanne and sj peploe style ?

i have to write an essay to compare the style of paul cezannes still life and sj peploe still life styles. however im finding it really difficult as they both look very familiar. i would say that peploes work is more brighter but that's about it. any suggestions ??

While I am not familiar with SJ Peploe, Cezanne's work is intense in brushstrokes but calm in attitude and demeanor. I have a reproduction in my living room. It's like his coverage of a subject is so creative and clear that you feel your subject. Hard to explain, but his work is easily recognizable once you get into some of his pieces.
