Breaking it down, Impressionist and post impressionist who are your favorites and why?

Though there are many fine artists of that period my favorite is Camille Pissaro. As Mary Cassatt once wrote " He could teach the very rocks to paint" He was the the only artist to show in all 8 impressionist expositions.

I think this question is subjective. There is really no one correct answer. It is based on taste. My favorite Impressionist painter is a tossup between Pissaro and Degas. My favorite post impressionist painter is Signac.
