Even if you didn't know the answer, it was still obvious. Of the three mentioned, he is the only one who was both French and active in the Revolutionary/Napoleonic era.

David painted many famous painting, including Napoleon riding the gallant white horse and the emperor's crowning of Queen Josephine. I like his paintings even though sometime they are too pro revolution and doesn't always sticks to the fact.
