Characteristics of camille pissarro painting?

hi! i was wondering how you would tell if you had an original copy of a camille pissarro oil painting! whether he has any characteristics that link his pictures to him? and where he might sign his name. Please help and whether you know of a price that they go for when sold if it is a original!

May I suggest that if you are interested in the 19th French Impressionist that was quite prolific perhaps The Jerusalem Post - Arts Section would be to your liking. They just released an article of mention, regarding an auction of one of his 1893 paintings <-- I believe the date is correct.
