How to Decorate Your Phones

Decorating and customizing your phone is an easy way to create your own work of art that you can show off every time you answer a call. If you are short on time or supplies, then purchase already decorated phone cases for nearly any phone model online or at your local shopping mall. If you want to customize your phone yourself, the necessary supplies are cheap and the process itself is limited only by your own creative imagination.

    Draw or print out the design you want before you begin decorating your phone to give you an image to reference. Tattoo parlors, libraries and online sources such as The Design Inspiration have art samples to draw inspiration from.

    Place case onto your phone before you begin decorating. The case protects the actual phone if you grow tired of your design or wish to make a new one. Protective cases can be purchased at your cell phone service provider's retail store, your local shopping mall or online.

    Place the case on a table covered in newspaper and paint your design using the fine paintbrush onto the phone case. Acrylic paints work best for painting phone cases. You may need to paint the design three of four times until you get a thick enough coat.

    Apply the super glue to the areas on the case that you wish to add decorations to. Attach the decorative rhinestones, beads or whatever you wish to the glue and allow it to dry. Rhinestones and other decorations can be purchased at your local craft or hobby store such as Michaels, The Rag Shop or A.C. Moore.
