What is El Greco's most famous work?

With the name of the art piece can you give the year it was made and if there is a reason behind it why it was made? If you guys can also give a link about El Greco the painter with your answer it will be greatly appreciated. However, not the video where there just pictures showing. Thanks!

His most famous painting is probably the Burial of Count Orgaz. c.1586. Oil on canvas. Church of San Tomé, Toledo, Spain
Why was it made? To honor the memory of a good and pious man whom legend said that Saint Stephen and Saint Augustine descended in person from the heavens to bury him. In this painting El Greco put in portraits of the famous people of his time living in Toledo. There is a full description of the paintings at
