It is not Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" nor is it Tintoretto's. I do not believe "The Last Supper" is even the title of the piece. Jesus and his 12 apostles are gathered around a table in the middle of a temple. We view the temple from outside and so the communion is taking place a distance away, as opposed to most interpretations. There are a large number of people dancing around, with dogs and midgets on the temple steps in the foreground. I cannot recall the title, the artist, or even the time period, though my guess would be somewhere in the 16th and 17th century. Perhaps earlier. Does anyone have any idea what the name of this piece may be?
