I am wondering if anyone can recommend artists that represent concerns in their work relating to the human condition and existence? Such as fear and anxiety relating to our own mortality? Like Francis Bacon and Edvard Munch (the scream), or perhaps work relating more toward escapism? Artists who create works that cause sensory reactions, such as fear and suspense relating to our fear of unknowing, and knowing? (eg. David Lynch Films)? just curious :) any form of art, painters, photographers, filmmakers/films etc.... plus add if you have any opinions on these themes?
