Is there a way to clean my paintbrushes from oil paint without using chemicals?

Im new with oil paintiing In between the reds and the blues i am growing a bit tired of having to breathe in the smell of paint thinner as i clean out the paintbrushes. My apartment is not very well ventilated with small windows so its getting really hard! I tried soap and water but it doesnt come out very well and takes a long time per brush. Is there a non-smelly way to clean oil paint brushes?

I've heard people use Murphy's oil soap and water for cleaning oil paint from brushes. They soak the brushes first in Murphy's and the paint becomes easier to clean afterward with a bar of Ivory soap.
