Is there any painting done by Mary Cassatt that relates to political economy?

My instructor assigns us to do this research paper and I chose a topic that let me work with an essay by Ken Lum (basically about political economy). I have to connect it somehow with the work of Mary Cassatt or Berthe Morisot, and I'm dead clueless. Will someone please give me some suggestions?

Morisot painted what she experienced on a daily basis. Her paintings reflect the 19th century cultural restrictions of her class and gender. She avoided urban and street scenes (which were popular subjects of her time) as well as the nude figure and, like her fellow female impressionist Mary Cassatt, focused on domestic life and portraits in which she could use family and personal friends as models. he rose above the stereotypes surrounding her gender of the times. Both she and Cassatt explore/defy the politics of gender.
