why is it that michelangelo ever like painting? because i no he did not want to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

he actually did.
he just quit halfway because he was an arrogant artist and when someone told him that he was doing it wrong, he got quite annoyed and threatened to quit.

because he thought of himself as a Sculptor and not a painter.
