Is John Singer Sargent from the Romantic era?

Would you consider John Singer Sargent to be a romantic painter? What pieces in peticular?  If you don't think he is, what are some good examples of romantic artist?

He is not a romantic. 
 
He is a late Victorian/Edwardian painter, whose work is really a sort of academic Impressionism. 
 
He can be most happily grouped with Lavery, Whistler, and Nicholsen.
 
The obvious romantic painters are Gericault, Delacrox and Turner.
