Tiger one of the Twelve Chinese Zodiac in Chinese Paintings

The tiger is a symbol of courage and bravery and has the power to drive away demons and evil spirits. In Chinese paintings the tiger is the king of the wild animals and is a "yang" creature with a male principle.
