Believe it or not I have decorated several of the rooms in my home with things that I found for free on the internet and with oops paint. It's a great way to decorate on a tight budget.

1    Before we get to the free stuff let's start decorating your house by getting the walls painted for under $5.00 a gallon. That's right $5.00 for a gallon of paint!
Stores like Home Depot and Lowe's have a section of paint called oops paint. This is paint that was mixed for a customer but the color did not come out to the customers satisfaction.
Instead of throwing the paint out they discount it to $5.00 a gallon.
The only thing with using oops paint is that you have to decorate your room around the color of oops paint that is available at that time. You have to pick an available oops paint and then choose the decor that best fits the paint color.

2    Now let's get the free stuff.
There are websites like freecycle.com and craigslist.org where people give things away instead of throwing them out. This in turn protects the environment by reducing the amount of trash in the trash dumps.
You can contribute to this by listing things that you would like to get rid of.

3    Home decorating with free stuff takes allot of imagination. You must put it all together in a way that creates an interesting decor. But if you keep searching and finding things you can do it. I have!
